Given The Correct Adapters, Is It Possible To Use A Verizon Usb Aircard With An Ipod Touch?
I have a Verizon USB Aircard, which lets me access Verizon’s BroadbandAccess network. If I can somehow get a female USB-iPod adapter, can I use the Aircard with an iPod Touch?
i can’t positively say its impossible, but i can say it is highly unlikely.
the usb connection on the ipod touch probably doesn’t even provide power, since it was never intended for external usb devices.
without power, the verizon usb modem would not work.
FYI, for those folks who travel a lot and want high speed “3G” internet access while on the road for their laptops or their gadgets like an Apple iPhone or iPod Touch, or a Sony PSP/Mylo/PS3, or Nintendo Wii/DS or Nokia 770/800/810 tablet, an Archos 605 WiFi, or even the Chumby… take a look at this article:http://www.evdoinfo.com/ipodtouch
its also a good way to get “3G” speeds on any iPhone! and faster than AT&T!
If you can write a driver for it. The iPod wouldn’t know how to communicate with the Aircard.
