How Does A Wireless Aircard Work? Does It Require A Subscription? Will It Work While I Travel?
I need something that I can use while I travel to places that don’t have “hotspots”.

Wireless aircards are basically cell phones for computers. The speed is better than dial-up not usually as good as DSL or Cable.
It works when you travel if you are in range of a tower, the same as a cell phone.
It usually requires a service contract and a monthly subscription between $40 and $100 depending on vendors and usage.
The top 2 names in the business are Verizon & Sprint.
