Depends. If it has a USB interface or can go into a PCI slot on the motherboard, sure, it will probably work. But if this is something you pulled from a laptop or a PC-Card type device, no, it won’t. Unless you have a PC-Card reader on your desktop, of course.

Yes, the major US carriers all make USB modems that would work with a desktop computer. For Sprint the best is the Compass 597:http://www.EVDOinfo.com/compass
