How Does An Aircard Work?

I have an AT&T cell phone but not AT&T internet service. My ISP is something else.
Would I have to make a monthly payment for an AirCard?
Would I have to change AT&T as my ISP?

An aircard is a device you can plug and play in a USB port. The way you obtain one is from Best Buy or from your celluar service provider. You will need to pay an additional fee top obtain a wireless card.
