This mount is seemingly larger than the original mount,but its better. reason is that it gets closer to you for control and access. It is also setup to accomodate the power adapter that is supposed to connect to the back of the unit. also it has a sturdy design to withstand years of use.I would recoment this brand to anyone for their use.
